Fluorouracil (5-FU)

It rips you out of your normal daily life and there's nothing you can do about that. Helplessly observing the "healthy" people pursuing their life is pretty hard if you're tied to your bed.

bloody defacation, pain at the tailbone and really bad vapors.

Radiation for 28 days before surgery, totally demolished my skin at the bottom.

response nr. one.

Not much of new informations to share, but I wanted to let you know, that I’ve finished all of my follow-up checks (because I told you before that I had to go there). It went kind of complicated as always whenever it’s something about me. My radiologist decided (spontaneously) that he’d like me to have a different check-up – avoiding to much of nuclear radiation and instead having another mrt for the stomach-area. So I had to go there twice, yesterday and today morning…I’ve got no problems with the tubes and the noise, so it’s more relaxing, except the fact that I’m always stressed about the possibility of not getting out of it fast enough whenever I’ll have to use the bathroom…but that’s a gamble anyway, so not worth a thought.

I’ll tell you about my results after meeting up with my oncologist next tuesday, but until that I’ll just wanted to wish you some nice easter holidays and a non-exciting weekend without greater troubles!
Hugs and a lot of coloured eggs, including some easter bunnies if possible.
Love, Moeki

Good luck with the scan! Let us know how it goes. And happy Easter to you as well.
